In administration requests, I requested an Idea for a new forum... do you think that is a good Idea? (just so you don't have to visit, here is the description)

 

 

 

There are forums about editing such as modding, and Tibed and stuff, but do you think you could make one about map making, or editing? It might help a lot of people, including me

Whats wrong with posted map related questions in the TibEd Editing Discussion forum?

 

Mapping and editing fall into the same category don't they?

Hell no. Modding and mapping are two completely different subjects.

 

Exactly... mapping includes triggers and such... you can't go to tibed to see when you want a tank to appear out of the screen... you cant use a map editor to determine what kind of weapons a unit will have...

Hell, map making is easy, I am just having trouble with triggers... I am trying to follow Flaks editing guide...

Find some guy names SX sniper. he helped me out in makin my AoD and a cuoulpe of RA3 maps

Modding (if done right) is difficult

 

Mapping (if done irhgt) is difficult.

 

but modding more so
