Installing RA2 with XP, SP2. If you have trouble, read this.

Many people ahve trouble installing RA2 after setting up Service Pack two for Win XP.

 

Check the link below and try a few of the fixes noted there. Hope it works for you as it did for me.

 

I changed the compatibility mode, the shortcut, set the Wndows Installer to automatic, rebooted, and voila! it worked.

Yes. It's a very common problem judging by the activity on the forum linked above. Thought it might be good for you guys to have the info for future members with similair issues.
