Tibed2 refuses to work with 1.07?

Now everytime I start the mod selector it says it only works with 1.04 or above and asks me to update the game...

The problem is 1.07 is the latest patch...

It's not my version is too old, it is too NEW!!!

Apparently Tibed only works with 1.04 to 1.06...

OK, that is strange. You had 1.06 before 1.07? Or was it a fresh game installation? And have you played the game at least once after applying the patch?

 

I will need to change this warning to include a 'Ignore this warning' as well, I think?

I updated from 1.06 to 1.07, not a fresh installation

Can you try downloading http://www.tibed.net/beta/alpha11data.zip , which contains alpha 11 test prerelease (dated today), which has a new Generals Mod Selector?

This one allows you to ignore game version warnings. Still have to check this myself with 1.07 (still running 1.06 myself), but this should be a workaround.

Thank you, it works now...

But it still launches the EA website after I click either close or OK...and it takes 30 seconds or so to enter the game.

Regardless, the mod still works.
