Rusty Le Cyborg 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Not sure if anyone has noticed this but Peter Jackson has taken the King Kong game away from EA and given it to Ubisoft... Peter Jackson, famed director of the Lord of The Rings series is now working on a King Kong remake, and according to reports at actiontrip, he's become so frustrated at EA game's lack of co-operation on the accompanying game that he's given the project to Ubisoft instead. Eurogamer Double Agent Joystiq Bad for EA. Possibly good for CnC? Cheers for now <edit> Ha! Just had to add this bit from the same article... Sounds like Jackson wanted a creative and original game. No wonder EA wouldn't co-operate. </edit> Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted October 29, 2005 Hmm... Interesting... I wonder if he was trying to be overally controlling or whether EA were simply "lacking co-operation" as that article said... lol... So for every game that EA doesn't make it puts CNC that one spot higher on the list for game development. Share this post Link to post

Hybrid 0 Posted October 30, 2005 Who cares about a King Kong game anyway  LOL, true. Even though i think the guy has the right idea, EA has become too consuming in the gaming industry. The film industry is already dominated by corporations, look how many ****ty films come out, we don't wan the same with the gaming industry. Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted October 30, 2005 It's already partially happened, lets just hope more people like this spread it back among many companies... Share this post Link to post
