Yuri's Revenge Mod

Allright, I want to start a modification process for Yuri's Revenge. This is a complete, and udder transformation. This means, maps, units, campaign scenario, skins, EVERYTHING.

 

I don't know if I will get much support, but, I thought it would be a good Idea.

 

Here's the backround of the scenario:

 

In the first C&C, Tiberian Dawn, GDI always won. Tiberian Sun continues as if the GDI defeated the brotherhood. I want to change it to make the Brotherhood defeat GDI. GDI funding is cut, and now, Individual countries go back to creating their own armies.

 

Basically, I just want to make it to where it is the Brotherhood of NOD vs. America, Brittain, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, and maybe China.

 

All these countries go against NOD individually, sometimes getting in fights with each other due to their disagreements in plans to stop NOD.

 

Similarly to RA2, they each have their own specialties, and there are changes made to the armies.

 

America-- Keep's Drop Pods.

Great Britain or UK (what should we call it?)- Longer Distance Tanks.

Germany-- Light, Cheap tanks (for Blitzkriegs)

France-- Machine Bunkers (For mowing down tons of infantry)

Russia Technology-- (Tank/Soldier/Defense? Which one?)

Japan -- Kamikazee, for tradition, OR something technical (any ideas?)

China-- Hell, I don't have any ideas for this. How about you?

 

Overall, there will be some other changes I want to make.

 

1. Engineers can not Steal. Only Repair.

2. Some sort of Tiberium Derrick. Due to #1, it would have to be player built.

3. Barrels and Mine Layers.

4. Red Tiberium. (This will have a hidden meaning I will discuss with the team).

5. More tanks. No more wolverintes/titans, but a new array of tanks.

6. Air Lazers

7. Flares (red, yellow, green) - for signals of some sort.

8. Sticky bombs (like IVAN)

[*]Map Makers (Required Scenario maps. Extra staff for Multiplayer maps optional)

[*]Picture File Editors (To change load screens, clickable stuff, skins, ect)

[*]Storyboard editors- to enhance and create for each mission

[*]Organization of teams, units, ect.

[*]Script Editors (to change to change team names, briefings, ect.)

[*]Dialogue we might need

[*]Manual Creator (so people know the new game)

[*]Someone who puts all of it together.

[*]Sound editors -- To get sounds in to the game that we want.

[*]Special/Other

[*]Web Site Creator

[*]Idealists- Have any ideas? You don't need to be staff for this.

[*]Leaders ***THIS IS IMPORTANT*** Just in case people have good ideas, and I'm too stupid to realize that, I want 3 other main leaders. So, if I think something is stupid, but it's evidently not to all of you, or the other way around, we have some sort of imput.

[*]Voice editors. -- Also not a staff position. If you want a character to have your voice (maybe for certain country special units), send us in your schtuff. Send in either army type stuff, or themed commands to a type of character. You must send in commands for movement, fear, death, and attack. Maybe even infiltration.

[*]Any other staff I missed?

 

 

 

Also, I want to make it community friendly, so do you have any other ideas for aarrangements for countries?

 

We have a maximum of 7 countries to allow (besides NOD)

Anyway, I'm doing this with the rock patch. So, this mod will be for YR, but it will be based on TS features.

You realize this woud be better suited to a Rock Patch enabled YR mod, don't ya? Countries and additional sides are incredibly difficult to add in TS. You can't have new loading screens or new sidebars. It'd a be mess to do the AI since Tiberian Sun doesn't work countries in the same manner that RA2 does.

I would like to ask that this be removed. Nobody is interested in it, except one person who annoyingly emailed me 5 times saying each individual thing they could help me with.

Interest isn't always instant. Most of the time, you need some form of actual work before people will jump on the bandwagon.
