TheBlackOut 7 Posted February 16, 2006 You got my motherboard! Its a pretty good system I will tell you, and you live in Romania? Bware, wait til the 7900 comes out. Also I love the brand Ultra for powersupplies. Lifetime guarentee and they run great! Also Bware if you can afford the X1900, I am so so jealous. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted February 16, 2006 Nah, forget the 7900 man. I can't wait that long! Plus, the top model of that series won't be nearly as affordable as the x1900 is now... and the x1900 is amazing. It will run any of the games I now play with maxed out settings without breaking a sweat, ESPECIALLY fear. My 6800 ultra oc just couldn't quite cut it... too many shaders I think. Oh, and I'm just going with an Enermax 620 w PSU. You just can't cheap out on a power supply  And yeah, I'm getting that same motherboard as well.... how do you all like it? I'm getting the SLI deluxe because of the heatpipe for the northbridge (I hate fan noise...), but obvioulsy with the x1900 I won't be using SLI. Does anyone know of any complications that could pop up by using an ATI card on an nVidia board? I sure hope it works alright. The ATI Crossfire boards just really seem to suck. Just because the chipset is nVidia means nothing. Its'll be grand. You can cheap out on the powersupply? Then definitly go with Ultra. Share this post Link to post
