Need Help making Models

Does ne1 kno any programs to make models or skin them , that can be used easily by beginners, tutorial if possible??

i use 3DS max 6. there are a couple of other good programs by discreet that i have too but 3ds max is probably best. you can download a watermarked version of it called gmax
