tibed isnt working i try to start it

uh tibed v1.6 isnt working at all . it is saying runtime error70:access is denied. do i have to have special permissions from the administrator on my computer to make tibed v 1.6 run! :x

Yes, TibEd 1.x series will not work without Administrator priviliges. Is that a major problem?

yes it is so a major problem....my father is the administrator on the computer.and he will never let me install things with his permission..so im dead :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

I am preparing a test version which might work without priviliges. But if it doesn't, then there's no way. Stay tuned. And please do not open new topics for now, okay?

 

A better way to get things done from people is to:

- use proper Capital letters in your posts

- one ! and smiley will do

- no swearing

I now have an answer to your question:

- you will need administrator or power user rights to install TibEd

- the administrator or power user needs to change the C&C game's folder so that the limited user has write access as well.

- TibEd 1.61 will run fine as a limited user but only if it is installed properly and it can write to the game folder.
