New at modding

Hello everyone,

I am new to this whole modding universe, and I have the Yuris revenge ini files and the cameos, but how do I actually mod stuff. I know you use wordpad but I dont get how you change the code around, mainly because I dont understand it. Can anyone give me any guidence on creating mods?
