is there any available self-extracting exe or zip file that can update to 1.006?

No. Patches physically update game executables and you cannot do that with a zip file.

it always says old files not found, something then contents dont match. what do i do? i only have RA2 and it was from 2 years ago, then i got yuri's revenge. but that auto-patch doesn't work. do i have to buy a new copy?

Have a legal copy. Legal copies tend to avoid errors like that.

No. Just buy another copy. It's cheap these days.

 

Besides, I know it's an illegal copy since no one with a legal copy has ever had that problem before.
