CRASH ISSUES! WITH C&C GENERALS/ZH!!

Whenever i play generals or zh the game always after varying times of gameplay causes my monitor to go all black almost as if i shut down my computer,while it is still on nothing is displayed i cant get back to the desktop or do anything and am forced to restart. Its frustrating because i love the game and i can only play for limited times help plz!!

Have you tried updating your graphics card's drivers? If so how about your card and monitor settings, make sure that the settings you've chosen are within the capabilities of your card.

I've had a problem like that, only Generals says that my system is too weak (Referring to my old system)... I say, check your PC's specs, then keep it cool during sessions, because if it get's hot, it might be the cause of your problem. Keeping my PC cool (old specs), the game ran ok. :wink:

I think no data is transferred to the monitor due to data overload and made the computer crash. It could be because your pc specs are too low. You should specify your pc specs.
