The First Decade: Problems with Yuri's Revenge

Hello. I just got The First Decade so I can play all the other C&C games that I can't seem to find anywhere, but when I installed the games, everyone of them worked fine except RA2: Yuri's Revenge. What happens is it takes about 30 minutes to load where it didn't used to before. I had Yuri's Revenge running fine on my computer before TFD, and now it doesn't load at all. Can anyone possibly offer some help for this situation?

If you already had the game before... simple: uninstall the TFD version of YR, and install your own original version instead.

But when I did that it was STILL running slow. I don't get it.

When Yuri's Revenge was first released there was and issue with computers that had two or more CD-Rom drives (eg CD-Reader and CD-Writer) where the game loaded very slowly. The V1.001 patch corrected this.

 

The First Decade version of Yuri's Revenge shouldn't be affected by this.

 

If you had any C&C games installed before you got the First Decade pack you should have uninstalled them all before installing anything off the First Decade DVD.

I tried uninstalling everything that has anything to do with C&C and then I installed The First Decade, and still having problems with Red Alert. It worked fine with the CD, but since installing TFD, Yuri's Revenge stopped working even on the cd. I WANNA PLAY YURI'S REVENGE SO BAD!!!
