i need help with tib sun and didnt know where to go so im here

im trying to add avoxel and its not working

no i meant adding with tib ed a fresh one but i got it so nvm

i put a Rolls Royce in tib sun

it adds vxl's aud's hva's using file bag at the bottom try it open it use tib sun or red alert 2 right click file bag and it will say add file(s) and add, create art, add unit and done!

:D

Back when I used it I used the filebag to fix the names on the new units in RA2. For some reason its not like TS, where you just write in the name and its there.

you have to add object art through it ,object art is needed for the unit it self to see so i used it and now im making an ion cannon out of an orca bomber

Just be careful adding superweapons to units. :P Ive seen what damage it can cause. And IEs are a wonderful thing too.

im trying to add TD structures and units to TS and have gotten nowhere

You need to be careful with the scaling, and the fact that TD and TS are two similar, but different game engines. Ask Fenring, or go to PPM's site. Plenty of tutorials and helpful tidbits over there.

because TibEd isnt a .mix editor. You need to use the XCC utilities which can be found right here on CNCNZ

i have it and used it for it and quick question how did westwood put the run down TD buildings in TS?

They made shps for the buildings and placed them on the maps. They didnt use the actualy shps from TD, and as well, the rundown ones in TS have no build anims.

Go to PPM, read every blasted tutorial they have, get yourself the entire XCC Suite, and quit typing on your Psp. :wink:

when I downloaded XXC it screwed up and said some .dll was missing but i got pass that and my final sun F***ed up n says tibsun.mix not located :shock:

You shouldnt be using FinalSun for modding, its a mapmaker.

 

Unless you mean you didnt put your Tibsun.mix back where you found it :P

if your just doing basic modding and dont quite know what your doing why not use sunedit2k

1.TibSun.mix has been untouched 2.I have SunEdit2k I have almost every tool

Obviously it has not been untouched, because your mapmaker cant find it.

 

Keeping mind if you are using C$CTFD the dirrectories are different than the default ones that the mod programs look for.

when i download finalsun it works for the first time then it doesnt
