Help with online gaming

hey all Just found this place so I'd thought I'd sign up

 

Well My connection to my online gamins is very annoying it cuts out after a minute saying reconnection error and its hard to start up a game with out something losing a connection

 

just wondering if theres any tips though it could be partly caused by my wireless connection

 

Oh and just wondering if anyones found the mental omega mod for YR just wondering if theres fans of that mod here too

second, in invercargill or out of invers, eg lornvile?

 

third, if in the outer area's of linvers an electric fence can disrupt your connection, that is a common coarse, if you are on woosh, then weather can gratlly effect the connection of outside players, also i found that if you host the game you have a better connection to having games online,

 

4th i am aware of the mod but i have never played it, i have the exe on my pc.

and mental omega is very well done mod but is real hard even on easy new units even a yuri campaign

I checked same REs keep happening once I get desalators into the fight

 

I've heard people complain about being soviet with RE problems but being ok with allied or yuri units

ok i always play as soviet, and i have no problem. the only thing i can think of is your connection speed. if you are going to play any online game, stop all downloads. and close any browsers. this might help as well, what version of the game are you using, the first decade or the original RA2 version?

also try and not have a huge amount of players.

and you will also find Yuri online is a no go zone.

If you have a firewall either turn it off, or open the right ports.

 

Turn off all anti virus software that is running.

 

And don't try downloading anything in the background. The idea is to dedicate your connection to the game so you get the best speeds.

i always disable my firewall when gaming so i have no worries, so try that SSTG

Well I did shut off the auto protect and it works awsome now though I got pwned badly but its working quite fast too
