So TFD patch no show still :(

Now if EA hadn't of said anything I wouldn't still be moaning, but I am.

 

I've reinstalled TFD and still issues with it. Tried all the known fixes and still problems. Yes, I know there will always be problems, but some of them can helped a lot. (Would just be great if they gave the source code for the older games already but noooo :cry: )

I had no problems till I had to reformat one time and it all came crashing down.

 

RA2 crashes, YR crashes, TS crashes, Renegade and the modern ones are fine. RA1 and TD crash, its insane.

I don't have any of those kinds of problems. The only problem I ever had was the Soviet Mission FMV's wouldn't load. But thats fixed now...

 

Maybe the TFD just doesn't like you.

I honestly don't care about that first decade patch at all. I've had no problems with my copy of TFD anyway. Probably bacause its not even installed

I've never removed the DVD from the case either.

What's the point when I already have all the games in their original form that I've installed numerous times without any problems.

 

I've fired off a quick e-mail to Predator about the missing TFD patch. He will reply here or reply to me directly, either you should get the answer your look for eventually.

i had a crazy error, Generals and zero hour wouldn't load, so i just yell at my PC like you do when a EA game bugs out and then i Restarted my PC and fresh installed it, it did it again i returned my copy to EB Games and they replaced it and that copy worked fine. but there is one but i have noticed that has never been fixed since RA2 and that is the bug on the Hawaii mission when you have to try and save your ally that is being attacked by the soviets, then you have to defend pearl harbor, well all you do is send your boats out to your ally and there will be a sentry gun already built on a small island near your ally, just destroy that and you beet that mission in under 2 min, and it works on the first decade.

I'd like to see another TFD patch and its really a matter of me making it a bigger priority, but right now I need to get thru some C&C 3 community matters.

 

I can't make any promises but I sincerely do want to see this through.

I'll try and update everyone very soon.

man i want that patch, that is what EA needs to learn to support it's community, it was like that with most wanted and carbon, they are just not supporting there main games.

If EA gets a good, solid patch out to fix most TFD's biggest issues, everyone will be stunned. No one can use the "Yea well they didn't even support their collection!".

 

Everyone will get TFD too, a lot of ppl returned it. If EA can fix it, it'll go up in sales I swear to God it will.

 

 

Also fixing a few minor hacks in some certain, still played C&C games that'd be great. ;P

well that bug that i found i mentioned it on there Bug report site numerous times and it was never fixed.
