Is this the original RA2 release, or part of The First Decade?

If it's the original, make sure you're patched: http://www.cncnz.com/files/redalert2/patches.php

If It's the first decade then I'm not entirely sure what can be done. You could start by giving your computer specs and what version of direct X you are using. Making sure you have the latest version of DirectX 9.0c is also beneficial. This can be found here: http://www.cncnz.com/files/support/drivers.php#dx9

E-mail EA and say if you have TFD "Where's my new TFD patch ya commies?"

Thats what I did.

ok the First decade is different all together it is a dvd compilation of all the games. now what you should try and do if you have done the patch and it is still not working, you Right hand click on the exe that opens the program, go to properties, click on the tab that says compatibility, then set the compatibility to run as 98/ME, accept it. then see if that works.

You do not have the Russian (second) disk? Probably that is why it is not working. Try to find your second disk. And check your PC specs.
