''New Construction Options''

Recommended Posts

Guest woswill

So my game freezes for 5+ minutes when i start it up, so i usually watch TV or get a snack until it finally loads up..I played both skirmish and online play and have the following problem..

Everytime i get ''new construction options''.. the ****ing game freezes for like 5 seconds, its extremely annoying especially in a rush game. Anyone know how to fix this? It basically freezes after every tech up.

I dont need to free up space, get more RAM or any of that..

World of Warcraft runs perfectly on this computer.. but yuris/ra2 is acting up, it used to not do this until i reinstalled recently.

Try reinstall it again, or run the uninstall shield and do a repair if it has one

It does, but maybe you got a corrupt file? Try downloading from another source.

Can you guys honestly be constructive or GTFO? Honestly, this is bull****. Save it for the open discussion.

As for the original post.

This happened to me for a time.

Check your disk, make sure it isn't scratched. Sometimes it could be a problem with the GameMD.exe, as I found frustration with this file, and it caused freezing too because the disk was scratched, and the file wasn't working right.

It also helps to copy the root contents of your game CDs to your hard drive to reduce the amount of times you need to spin up the CD...

... or you could be like me and just find a crack. :P
