Tiberium Discovered?

I was checking out CnCDen and found that Lion had found an article from Possum Observatory in NZ. The credit goes to Terry Lovejoy for finding a GREEN comet in space. The site is http://www.possumobservatory.co.nz/comet2007e2-lovejoy.htm

 

"Congratulations to Terry Lovejoy from Brisbane, Australia on his photographic survey discovery of a magnitude 9.5 comet in the deep southern sky! IAU Circular No. 8819 states -

COMET 2007 E2

Terry Lovejoy, Thornlands, Queensland, Australia, reports his discovery of a comet with a strong central condensation and a green extended 4' coma, with a slight extension to the southwest, on sixteen 90-s CCD images obtained on Mar. 15 with a Canon 350D camera (+ 200-mm f/2.8 lens); the coma diameter was given as 5' from his Mar. 16 frame (his positions below have estimated uncertainties of +/- 15"). At Lovejoy's request, J. Drummond (Gisborne, New Zealand, 0.41-m reflector) confirmed the comet visually at mag 9.5 (moderately condensed, coma diameter 2'.6, no tail)."

 

CnCDen has already called it the Scrin Deathstar or a Tiberian rock. This is open to more speculation.

 

But if its tiberium (or anything related), C&C is about to rock this Earth in ways that we only see in a video game.

Actually, that reminds me of something...I actually tried to make tiberium in my 7th grade science class. We got some stuff to mix and I actually got green crystals....sadly, though, they were as cold as ice and shattered from the touch of a thin hair.

Lol. Ive had my thoughts on creating Nod. I actually [when I was in the apparent cult stance of CNC that we all share a part in] developed a plan to reunite the Soviet Union, destroy the US, lose, then form Nod and reap the world. I was a nerd way back when. :oops:

C&C almost got banned in the UK at one point for inciting cult culture. Some local guys who got obsessed with the game ended up shooting someone in the name of Kane. It became national news at one point, and EAUK were even forced to release a statement on the behalf of Westwood at the time to prevent a possible ban of C&C in this country.

 

I like to immerse myself in the story, but there is taking things too far. Pretending this asteroid is something from C&C is a serious case of attack of the nerds, and that's quite disturbing. It's OK as a passing joke, but taking it seriously? I must be smoking too much weed lately cos I swear I'm seeing things! :roll:
