illumenatis 0 Posted March 26, 2007 Okay, the following is a post I made on GameReplays way back when i had first joined.. Its kinda long, but shows how the story lines of the games are connected. Please note that it is quite rough, but I was just 12 at the time. :? IMO, red alert is tied with cnc1 2 and 3. From what i can see, the red alert series and cnc series are all connected [ even red alert 2]You see, Red alert takes place in the damn fifties unless einstien transported Stalin from the forty's to the ninety's [common sense people]. Eienstien removed Hitler which made stalin decide to take over Europe [if Hitler didn't exist, it probably would've happened] This fuels the European nations to assault Russia after a lightning fast attack from Stalin. Eventually, the allies win after about a year [from what i can speculate]. Then 30 years later in the 80's,President Dugan puts Romanov in office [note, i do know that Ra2 is kinda wacky, but oh well]. Romanov was apparently a Stalin Loyalist, if he was alive back then. He decides, with the help of a crazy little dude called Yuri, to attack the United States to try an restore Russia to its formal pride. The Chrono technology of the past has been improved over the years due to Eienstien living for a long time [probably used the chronosphere to transport himself to the eightys] to where it now leaves the unit it transported where it is instead of bringing the unit back. You getting all that? well, as the new war progresses, the United states and its allies push the soviets and their mind control technology back into Moscow. IF you played the game, you know what happens. The chronosphere ultimately wins the allies the war. THen Yuri's revenge happens which ends with Yuri being contained and all his mind control **** being wiped out of existence. This brings us to 1995 when the big meteor strikes. This is after Yuri has been killed along with his mind control tech[ from what i foresee]. In the time of cnc, Kane has risen after the tiberium spreads out of Italy and into the other parts of the world. He uses this new resource, which [according to the series] surfaces other resources to the ground, such as coal, gold, silver, iron, and the like, to gain cash to fund his terrorist organization which he christians The Brotherhood of Nod. They develop technology that brings the coming of GDI. The GDI uses technology from every nation that doesn't support Kane and his Brotherhood, with the exception of a few country's that don't want anything to do with the war that doesn't end until [possibly] cnc 3. Now, soon, the GDI manage to put Kane and his forces to there last major stronghold where the beloved Temple of Nod lies. They use their newly developed Ion Cannon to destroy the Temple and [to what they believe] Kane himself. [take this moment to breath] Okay, as the GDI mops up the rest of the Brotherhood, Kane lives in secret where he develops Cabal, a super computer similar to that of EVA, which is the GDI information supercomputer. While this is happening, there are still Nod installations all around the globe, which [ from what i again speculate] convinced the GDI that they are not loyal to Kane and are just another faction in the world which is now peaceful with the GDI. But, the GDI most definitely were not convinced, as they had spies in high places throughout the Brotherhood [see the firs few missions of the nod campaign in TS]. Soon, the GDI receives a very particular message from, you guessed it, Kane himself. Now, just to break off here for a second, what i noticed is that in the messages Kane sends to both GDI seems to be different from the actual Kane himself. If you pay close to attention to the cut scenes and pre game movies, in the ones where Kane is sending a message, you see his face unharmed and correctly proportioned. However, in the movies where you see him in the flesh, his face is seriously ffed up with a metallic sort of mask on the right side of his head. Just thought id point that out. okay, back to business. When the GDI get this message, the war with Nod breaks out once again. After many months of grueling battle and many, many losses, the GDI detect a crash in northern Mexico. This is when the Scrin and the Forgotten come into play. After clearing the site of Nod forces, they find that Nod had been trying to destroy this monstrosity of a ship with great intensity. Apparently, they failed at making a dent with the explosives they had been trying to use. When the GDI manages to get some time alone with the ship [hehehe] they find a mutant that is part of a group of people that were test subjects for Nods tiberium research. This mutant, whose name escapes me, helps the GDI destroy Nods tiberium research and ultimately brings them to the Final battle against Kane, or so they think again, which has a GDI commander aiming to destroy the Nod Pyramid where Kane and the mutant lie. It is here that the commander "kills" Kane and retrieves the Tacitus in a very, very cheesy heroic cut scene where he saves the girl and kills the bad guy. Well, a year or two after this, GDI's research into the Tacitus[an alien "computer" of sorts that holds secrets that could allow the GDI to remove tiberium from the Earth or contain it to where it no longer infects our planet. But, they soon find that a piece of this computer is missing. After some initial investigation, and some unusual teaming with Nod, that Cabal, the super computer that a Nod commander [slavick] mistakenly put back together, took that piece and now has control of both Nod and GDI technologies. Both the GDI and Nod see this as a threat not just to them, but the entire world. They team together and after an exhausting battle against an army of cyborgs and other various things, the GDI commander retrieves the missing piece and gets rid of Cabal, or so they think. [theres a lot of that going around isnt there]. As soon as the GDI scientists get this piece, they find that the tacitus is unlocking itself. This advancement doesnt help that much [as i can tell from the descriptions of cnc3], but it does help. However, Cabal, or another version of him, still lies in secret, with the body of Kane, just waiting to be resurrected. This leads to Command and Conquer, Tiberium Wars. Until i play this game to its fullest extent, i wont be able to say anything more. Okay, now, i know that there is going to be tons of criticism and questions about this time line of mine [yes i realize its basically a time line, but its a time line that logically connects the story lines], but i still welcome it. Also, if i missed anything, please, point it out. And here is my view on the Origin of Tiberium: OKAY...before i give my opinion on the matter, i'd like to share some history about the origins of Tiberium. It all started in 2010 or so. In Italy, a meteor crashes down near the Tiber River. When this meteor hit earth, it immediately released tiberium into the air and spread the early form of tiberium into the ground. Soon, scientists that went to investigate the impact site found that the substance that was flowing out of the meteorite was green in color and eventually found that it was poisonous to humans. After a contamination crew extracts some of the tiberium from both the meteorite and the ground, scientists such as the old Dr. Mobius began to experiment with it. They found that tiberium extracts minerals, ores, and other resources from the ground. This discovery ultimately ffed up the entire friggen earth. The worlds industrys bought it, used to raise the ores and minerals, and this soon led to where it soon engulfed the earth. As for the airborne tiberium, it spread throughout the earths atmosphere where it came into contact with several different plants and organisms that we thought were of no harm to us on there own. We were wrong. Eventually, a madman by the name of Kane, finds an ultimate way to monopolize this substance to where Nod becomes one of the worlds most financially successful organizations imaginable. This again, helped humans destroy our planet, or at the least, **** it up to a point where we became pissed off at Kane, when it was our own faults anyways. And heres some more thoughts on Tiberium: In TD, there were a few FMVs that told us how tiberium evolved into what it is now. For instance, at the beginning of the infection, you have simple pods growing in the ground [we see this in TD]. Now, as Tiberium starts to get more concentrated and better at what it does, it starts to effect trees [TS] which start to release Tiberium gas into the air and into the ground. Now, in TW, tiberium starts to form very, very large crystals which take up crevices and [this is just elaboration right now] swallow up the trees thus killing them off. So, what we have now are large tiberium pods that shows the lastest evolution of tiberium. What these pods do is exactly what the Tiberium trees did. Now, if we try to delve into how exactly tiberium grows in TW, we can tell that the pods [more like mounds actually] are using the minerals in the soil [as far as i can tell, tiberium is even infecting salt now] to grow tiberium. However, in Red zones, this does not apply. In red zones, tiberium infection has gotten so bad that tiberium will actually spread regardless of minerals in the soil [which is how tiberium spread in TD]. Why this has happened is due to causes unknown. So, now to the point of the thread. What I'm curious to know is how you guys think that the series was supposed to go. We now know that all the games were supposed to be connected so just how do YOU think they were supposed to. You might want to share any other theories and posts you've made on the subject in the past here if you want. But please, lets have some fun with this. I wouldnt mind some kooky answers. Its actually quite funny, I had it right back then. The storylines were all connected [except for Generals of course ] Share this post Link to post

illumenatis 0 Posted March 26, 2007 Yes, that is quite good. But still, we all have our theories to suggest. Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted March 26, 2007 There's a big difference between "personal theories" and "spoilers" also, too much text. Use more paragraphs. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted March 26, 2007 There's a big difference between "personal theories" and "spoilers" also, too much text. Use more paragraphs. Seriously.. I was like "OH CRAP I CLICKED THIS" and tried to look away and close the window but then saw tons of text and then you saying that. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted March 26, 2007 Removed spoiler tags because it's not a spoiler, it's your personal writing. However, as for the text itself, I suggest you maybe go over it and edit it. It's more of a trip down memory lane for yourself rather than an explanation if you wrote it when you were 12. Share this post Link to post
illumenatis 0 Posted March 26, 2007 well, i just copied and pasted it and tried to edit it up. I knew there was too much text, so I tryed to clean it up. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted March 27, 2007 Well, now that it's in paragraphs, it's much better, visibly at least. Share this post Link to post
