I haven't tried to shoot planes with it...but it gets allways pawned by enemy anti-air it's definiately too weak for it's 5000 cost and slow speed

I haven't seen it take out air before, and I saw the domino effect a little, but I can't get the buzzer trick to work (zap them, then wormhole them into enemy bases in time to blow up and cause a domino effect).

Hmmm, looking very closely at the movie, it appears that it was done by getting a shadow team up into the air at the moment they were hit by the catalyst cannon, thus bring the charge 'up' into the air. Not too easy to do, needs timing.
