Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 26, 2007 Cars that go to auction. In other words, I can legally be a driver (ie; I can transport vehicles to the other side). Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 26, 2007 So what is it you actually do? I'm a CR (read: condition report) writer for an auction company. I notate damages, features and anything else on vehicles. I work on the Lease account but I'm trained on the Honda account, as well. Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted June 26, 2007 so you just tell people how much their cars are worth? and park them when you're done? Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 26, 2007 mormreed]so you just tell people how much their cars are worth? and park them when you're done? No. That's the auction side's job. I just rack up damage and notate features... and make sure the vehicle drives but I didn't need it to drive around the yard, just on public streets. Share this post Link to post
mormreed 0 Posted June 26, 2007 oh so you test drive it and tell the auction people whats wrong with it? Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 26, 2007 mormreed]oh so you test drive it and tell the auction people whats wrong with it? Essentially but I also check the exterior and interior for damage, as well mechanical damages. However, I don't take cars to the auction side; unless I get put on the "happy van," which is why I needed class E in the first place. Share this post Link to post

mormreed 0 Posted June 27, 2007 the "happy van"? sounds like something you would tell your kids, hey watch out for the "happy van" it brings bad kids away!!! my neighbor did that except with the UPS (United Postal Service, or something like that) truck, I babysat her kids once and it came down the street and they all ran inside rofl Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 27, 2007 Sounds cool, any really, really ****** up cars turn up very often, ya know few doors missing and the like? As a matter of fact, yes, really ****ed up cars pass through here. No missing doors yet but I've run across totaled cars, missing bumpers, missing hoods, broken off mirrors, missing front seats, pulled ignition switches... and the list goes on. I posted some of the 'best' totaled/damaged vehicles over on my forums. Share this post Link to post
