APB Update: Mobile Radar Jammer

Over this past weekend, the Red Alert - A Path Beyond team posted a detailed preview of the updated Mobile Radar Jammer.

 

The Allies constantly aim to confuse and outwit the Soviets, with all sorts of information denial technologies at their disposal. The Mobile Radar Jammer is a primary example of this. The technology it employs is relatively unsophisticated when compared to advances such as the Mobile Gap Generator, but its effects are far-reaching and have the ability to disrupt radar for all Soviet forces across the battlefield. Of course, Allied radar is completely unaffected, as disrupting one's own early threat warning system would be counterproductive.

Prior to purchasing a Mobile Radar Jammer, you will be able to select a forest, sandy, urban, or snowy colour scheme. Two of these schemes are pictured below.

You have to take what people say on the server with a grain of salt, or a few kilograms :lol:

 

You'll know when it's out, we'll announce a release date 'soon' which will hopefully only be a week or less before we actualy ship Beta, but who knows, it's not 100% done yet, but it's close.

Its not a new game. Red Alert - A Path Beyond is a total conversion mod for C&C Renegade. Everything from Red Alert plus the expansions brought to life in the FPS world of C&C Renegade.
