What I'm currently working on.....

I just thought it would be a good idea to post a quick update here about what I'm currently working on for CNCNZ.com. I wanted to post it here rather than the main page of the site to get our visitors thoughts.

 

1. The next CNCNZ.com layout

I've started the basics of a new layout (sort of), new colours, new main page set up. No date has been set for when it will be finished though, I may never finish it, mostley testings things right now. It takes many hours to come up with a decent layout, something that your happy with. And right now I don't have the motivation to make new layout because its like watching paint dry :roll:

 

The reasons for a new layout are basically I'm getting bored with the blue, I like the blue scheme but change is always good. The new colours that I've chosen are different. I'll be honest I saw them on another site recently (not in the C&C community) so I've decided they will be the new CNCNZ.com colours. No one can claim to own colours you know I won't tell anyone they colour scheme just yet.....I'm the sort of person that changes my mind about things. Maybe a small preview soon though :evilgrin:

 

I'm open to suggestions about the new layout, something I should add, something you would like to see added. Reply here.

 

2. Rating system for the download section

Osey mentioned this idea in this thread http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?t=851 about having a rating system for the files people can download from the site. I've tested a few scripts and found a good one to the job. The next layout is higher on my priority list though but I will get this added to the site as soon as I can.
