I don't understand

I'm fairly new to this modding lark but various things are confusing me.

 

If I go to the Westwood Renegade page.... there's no content at all but all the other C&C sections are jam packed... what gives?

 

I have no internet connection on my games computer. Can I actually utilise any of these maps? If so how?

 

Can I set myself up as a host and play as a host... ie. just me?

 

Links on this site to Westwood Battlefield (or something like that) go to a site about Outpost?

 

Are there any new Single player maps/missions available?

I think you can only play those mods online. Unless they come with a single player package which I don't think they do.

 

You could possibly replace the "pratice" map with whatever it is you want to play in. But there would only be you. No bots or anything.

There are no single player expansions at this time. If you were to download a user-made map, some of them do have bots on, you could set up a LAN game with 1 player (make sure it's not dedicated) and then play by yourself.

You can play the renalert expansion (its not a mod) single player as it runs as a standalone and so the multiplayer practice uses renalerts maps.

BTW renegade is best when played online with about 15 or more other people. so the fact you cant play it online sucks.
