Time for a look at some of the latest community news. I sure hope people appreciate these sorts of updates because they take a long time to put together. Some of this would have been posted a few days ago but as always I get side tracked.

• , has been postponed. Not enough people signed up despite the offering of 500 Euros. The new deadline is November 7th, the tournament will now start on the 8th.

 

[*]A new patch for C&C The First Decade is now available. But its not from EA. VK has created his own patch for The First Decade, fixing what EA have failed to fix. So its not an official patch but who cares about that, it makes the classic C&C games work with out all the problems a lot of people seem to experience when running them on modern operating systems. Grab the patch from VK's site.

 

[*]As you may have heard, the latest public version of Red Alert: A Path Beyond Beta was released. And now the latest release of the Red Alert: A Path Beyond FDS for server owners is now available. Visit the Red Alert: A Path Beyond site for the details.

 

[*]There is an updated version of the 3DS2VXL program. This utility allows conversion of 3D Studio models to voxels that are used in Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2. Visit Project Perfect Mod for the download.

me too. something is better than nothing. as long as the short descriptive line summarizes the update effectively - I'll be happy.

 

Then through subjective deduction, or comment #'s you can gauge whether it deserves a bigger update. APB deserves the bigger update... Retarded 1.7...1.8..1.9 or whatever daily update he's update doesn't.

jeez lots of mods and now that I have the majority of C&C games I'll have to check em out
