Renegade multiplayer host bandwidth setting

i cant figure out how to change the bandwidth alowance, so i cant host more then 4 poeple......

it says to go to the "my information" screen when i type more then 4 poeple in the gamespy mulitplayer host. plx help...

You can't host more people than your connection will allow, if you want to host more people, get a faster connection.

The problem with cable (at least in the UK) is that it doesn't have a very good "up speed" and that is the most limiting factor. E.g. My cable connection is 600K download (about 70Kb/s) but only 150K upload (about 10Kb/s).

i asked my dad, and he told me that it cant be a bandwidth problem.

he cant fix it though, becasue he doesnt know anything about the game.

but this brings me back to the "my imformation" screen. :shock: illusive.......

What speed is your connection?

its garenteed to be at least 2mb

So you have an upstream speed of 2Mb?

Well it might be a firewall or someone else might be using your connection at the same time which would reduce your bandwidth.
