Then I got the original RA2 CD. It installs the game, it works, I play it. Then when I stop playing and shut the computer. Next time I try to play it, I put the CD in. The screen appears where some guy says "Morning, military software detected.Bla bla bla" or something like that. I press the 'Play' button. RESULT: NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!! :!:

I think there is only one option then.

Reinstall. Copy the save files to annother directory and move them back when done, if you don't want to lose them.

did you try to right click the icon, and set compability to windows 98?

I reinstalled, tried windows 98. Didn't work. Could The First Decade do the trick?

I don't believe The First Decade can even do a trick.

but if you haven't given it a try yet, you should, might save your day, and might also ruin it.
