Adding downloaded shps, voxels, and cameos. Help!

Recommended Posts

Basically just like the title says.

I downloaded a bunch of shps, voxels, and cameos. How do I insert them into TibEd?

Thanks a lot

It doesn't take a lot of time, even with the files. It's just a lot of copying and pasting. It's faster, cleaner and easier. Trust me.

and also TibEd is slower... it takes a lot of your cpu memory compared to the files only... anyways... do you really need Tibed to add it? even if i been using tibed for 1 year... nearly 2, i still never touch the art part because it confusing... i like files better...

The art isn't confusing. It's easier than rules, I'll tell you that. It's just different and more tags make sense.

I'm always hearing people bad mouth Tibed! Why?!? I mean everything is at your fingertips in drop down menus!!!

n e ways, I started editing the actual files, and I got a new question...

I'm sure you have used "Voxel Section Editor II". I've never been a "Graphics" guy but I want to give it a try but all I see are colored blocks!!! Are there any tutorials around for this program?

Thanks

You didn't expect to see a pretty little voxel did you?

Figure out what to do on your own. It's just like using Paint.

i don't like TibEd because it is very limited... eventhough it shows most of the things... it doesn't come with a build in basic tutorial... the files amazingly does... it does take a bit of space though... and as for the voxel... just use your imagination and it is suppose to be made layers by layers... it is not take hard to make a rough one... but it is hard to make it exactly proportional...

and that is something i don't have... i only have the Voxel editor 2.0, shp builder, and the XCC mixer... and the files... that is like it... rest are crappy things like Microsoft Paint...

Most of the programs I have relate to web design. But I do have 3D Studio Max 5...

What do I have to due to get a finished 3DS Max model into the game?

3ds2Voxel. Run the script and it'll convert 3ds files to voxel and all you have to do is touch it up if you need to.
