Doctor Destiny 41 Posted March 13, 2004 Sounds must be in WAV format. They cannot be any other. You must make an entry that uses them. Just drag and drop the WAVs in your sound editor. Share this post Link to post
mellr0 0 Posted March 13, 2004 all the sounds are wavs and i have entries... but when i have the sound editor open, and drag them to it, they dont appear in the window... Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted March 13, 2004 Drag and drop them again then. Remember to click 'OK' when done. Share this post Link to post
Napoleon the Clown 0 Posted March 13, 2004 The sound won't work unless it's 4 bit mono. *Shakes fist at the computer* Convert damn you! Fenring, is there a program available that will convert the sound into a 4 bit mono WAV? If so, where? I've tried everything my computer has and nothing will let me convert it to 4 bit mono. Doctor Destiny 41 Posted March 14, 2004 Just about any WAV will work. I have 16 bit PCM wavs in my sound file. I think you guys aren't doing something right. They cannot be AUD files either. You must convert them first. I have an audio convertor and a video convertor too. I can't give them away though.... Kazaa was involved. Share this post Link to post
Napoleon the Clown 0 Posted March 14, 2004 Well I have 8 bit monos and they won't work. I've added them to the ini file and the mix file. I've also tried adding it in with the sound editor (by dragging it on, didn't add it to the list), but to no avail. I can't think of anything else to do. I just sorta assumed that they had to be in 4 bit mono because all of the sounds in the game are in 4 bit mono. Share this post Link to post
