Gben 20 Posted March 30, 2008 Well I've struggled into Act 2, and I'm preparing to reduce difficulty from hard down to normal for the 2nd time... some of these missions are hard for my poor little noggin! The first time I surrendered was a 'count-down' mission, the current mission is a beach landing where I just keep getting overwhelmed at the start. Anyway ACT 1 Movies with Marcion are delicious and beautiful. It's a really great asset to have an actor who has a son he needs to impress! Ms. Species is a little unimpressive so far. Light and I mean light spoilers... Heavily dissapointed that the actual ACT 1 missions don't re-create TibSun atmosphere... well heavilly is maybe an exageration. I didn't really expect anything more - but it still saps the grin when you realize the only old looking thing is the updated steel talon units! The worst offender is seeing Avatars without some big technological 'wow' factor... and a 'i didn't realise we had those' comment. Still, I'm having fun with my 1000th post and Kanes Wrath! The only one that is difficult is the one where you go off to Temple Prime and have to slip that bike out the back with out running into 3834923848 rocket militants. And that annoying one on that snow map, where the second you move out of your base you get spammed with predators and rockets in the last act. What really annoys me about the campaign is how they just got for some missions Skirmish maps and altered them slightly. Overall it wasn't too bad I suppose... I liked the Steel Talons mission when the guy pops up on the video, I was like lol... Oh and Spectors are so OP in the campaigns, you only need 5 of them and a few stealth tanks and its GG!
