Need help on a parody project

Hello everyone. I am keith. New here.

 

I am planning to do a tiberium wars parady short films for fun. I am thnking of using some mod to help.

 

Here is my wondering... Is it possible to control in game camera movment, place building and objects, and perhaps do a bit of minor retexturing and utimately record into a editable video file form the in game camera??

 

I would really aprreciate if anyone can give me some help on these.

Hey, why not start a LAN game with a friend/multiple friends depending on how many colours you want, and record the game.

Then when you play it back you can use a programme like Desktop Screen Record 5?

Like Red Vs Blue did, not sure what recording software they used tho.

I haven tried it myself, so I don't know if it'll work. Hopefuly this helps tho.
