C&C Ladder Season 2 Delayed & C&C Online Tech Issues

APOC has sent through some news that C&C Ladder Season 2 has been delayed. This is due to the current technical situation with Kane's Wrath, this includes problems like desyncs and exploits which need addressing. That means the start of Ladder Season 2 has pushed back from May 1st, to late May or early June, with the intent that all these issues will be resolved by then. APOC will be updating the Official C&C Site with more news about this soon.

 

Now to the situation with C&C Online. Over the past couple of days there have seen some server issues with GameSpy and today the servers are down once again for C&C 3 and Kane's Wrath, as well as other supported games. GameSpy has been working around the clock to fix all these problems and restore the service as fast as possible. For further updates on this issue check this thread on the Official C&C Forums.

We're 37 days post-launch, and haven't got the first patch yet!

I would rather have seen the game delayed... C&C is suffering.

I bet many new players give up playing online because of these problems, they moved on to other games, and I doubt all of them will return once the patch is out.

Yeah, EA are just showing their true colours. Support for TW was great, I mean in the first few weeks we got what, 3 or 4 hot fixes done, but now for KW we get nothing after a month.

 

And lets not even get started on the TW 1.1 patch ****storm... Sure, it'll be out in January, no wait, after KW, no wait, ummm... Yeah never mind... Apoc should just not saying anything ever, the at least he wouldn't be at fault.

Patches take time to make, they have to be heavily tested. They can't just correct the problems and release the patch to everyone, one change could be made that may break other things in the game.
