Renegade X Is Back - Time to Rock 'N Roll!

Recommended Posts

It has been many months since we last heard from the Renegade X team. After the big release of Renegade X: Black Dawn all the way back in January of this year, they are back with a big update about what's in store for the future of Renegade X. The latest update covers what the team has been doing since the release of Black Dawn, what they been working for the upcoming multiplayer release of Renegade X and of course there are some new screen shots.

You can read the full update right here and check out the latest screen shots.

It's definitely getting better than before. I hope they can get over the issues that made Black Dawn end up being less-than-stellar. Those trees look like pipe cleaners, though; at least in the first image with the Humm-vee. The rest of them look alright, but I imagine it's because they're clumped together in miniature forests rather than being placed by themselves. The sky also doesn't match since it's a photograph, while their artwork is not photo-real. They should look into using procedurally generated clouds so the lighting and tones match the environment.

Other than new screenshots, I could want to expect a new episode of the Renegade-X Q&A.
