No idea of the number Renegade X players or how populated the servers are. I know there a plenty servers to choose from though. As for the traffic/player data, you would probably have to ask to the Renegade X dev team or just jump in and start playing. Renegade X, like the original Renegade before it, is easy for newcomers to start in playing.

Ares 0.9 adds several super weapon improvements like multiple super weapons on a building, super weapons depending on owner's country, AuxBuilding and negative buildings, more customizable super weapon targeting modes, Inhibitors, and finally AI support for all these additions. You can read more about Ares at the official site, where you will also find the download of this new version.

I would need to see them before deciding on that. But I appreciate the offer.

The latest dev blog for Red Alert: A Path Beyond has been posted at Bluehell Productions. This update covers a few things. First a recap of the events that took place to get W3D Hub up and running, a place that Tiberian Sun: Reborn and Red Alert 2: Apocalypse Rising now call home. In more positive news, there is an updated version of the BHP Launcher available. You can also check out the new look Medium Tank. Click here for the full dev blog.

SSD's are great aren't they. So glad I switched to one. Everything is so snappy and quick and yes Windows 8.1 boots is like 3 or 4 seconds for me. And what impresses me even more, there is no lagging and loading once the desktop pops up. Its just on and ready to go. I totally agree about the 128GB size. Feels a tad small so that why I went with a 256GB, just to give me that extra bit of breathing room

@Aircraftkiller can you please learn to quote other posts correctly. This breaks up large wall of text and generally presents things better is the discussion. I guess I didn't explain things to well, my bad. CNCNZ.com as a collective remains neutral on all of this. CNCNZ.com is not taking any sides. Me personally, yeah I tend favour BHP here. Probably because Chronojam has helped me in the past and I've dealt with him on all matters concerning CNCNZ.com, BHP and APB. But mostly because I don't really know or have had very little do with anyone from TSR etc... This why I have to be careful when commenting and replying in news topics, especially in topics of a controversial nature such as this one. Because of my position as the Webmaster/Founder/Admin appears to be taken publicly as to what all of team here think and feel. I suggest you and everyone else get to learn our little disclaimers, particularly this one....

@Wallywood, your post sort repeats it self there for some reason I think. You may want to edit that. This is the only part that doesn't sit well with me. And probably doesn't for other people I guess. I couldn't care a less about all your other in fighting and bickering. All of you BHP/W3D Hub are the ones coming in here to air your dirty laundry, not us. The fact is you took the BHP database, cloned it and set up your site. Giving you an "insta-community" of sorts. This is not how you lay the foundations of a new site or community, by copying another one. That would be like one of our team here at CNCNZ.com taking our database and setting up another C&C fan site elsewhere to basically compete with it. I would have serious issues if that were to happen. As for your rushed release. Well you only have yourselves to blame for that Plan things better so you don't **** it up and make W3D Hub look bad in the process. But if you had started fresh without a copied database it wouldn't have been an issue in the first place. The comments I've made here are my own, its how I see things. The official CNCNZ.com view point is we remain neutral and still plan to cover/promote APB, TSR and AR as much as possible regardless of this ongoing BHP/W3D Hub mess.
-
Just out curiosity sake. If W3D Hub used a cloned copy BHP's database to set up and start their forums, did they also clone the BHP IP.Board files as well? I would assume they legally purchased a new copy of IP.Board. Makes no difference to me, I don't care either way. But I only asked because I see the Licensed to text at the bottom of the page on BHP's forums, just as you see it here at CNCNZ.com. But I don't see it on W3D Hub's forums. And yes I know its an optional thing to display.

As far as I know, this video was not made any of the CnCNet guys. CnCNet Forums loading fine for me..... From your screenshot I can see it its not loading the style sheet for the page. Try clearing your browser's cache. Also try another browser.

Made a slight colour change to the dark blue main body colour. It now matches the main site exactly. I made a mistake when I originally created the new theme. Today's change is only marginally different though, its still dark I'll assume everyone is happy with "cncnzNewBlue" in its current state. Please do speak up if you think something isn't right or looking to good.

I remember buying some stuff to do some cable management, I think that was way back 2010, never did get around it. Its tidy enough I think. As in the side panel goes back on and the case slides back under the desk. I consider those key upgrade. Adding more RAM is always good. Still rocking it with Windows XP though? Nothing has changed with the post snapbacks for a very long time, unless your trying to use one from the old IP.Board 2.x days or even further back when these forums where phpBB based.

Some cool videos. I like the last one with all the nukes
-
Yes you are correct, and in keeping things neutral on this side I've cleaned up the news post so it doesn't look so one side. My mistake. That's why we have this disclaimer in place http://forums.cncnz.com/forum-27/announcement-13-command-conquer-news-forum-disclaimers/

Well I consider Chronojam a good friend, he's helped me with some stuff for CNCNZ.com in the past, so I support his actions. He's only fighting for what he feels is right. Defending BHP and APB etc....
-
If I was Chronojam I wouldn't have even wasted time my time mentioning it. But I guess he felt the BHP community there had the right to know exactly what and how it happened.
-
So I went to fix this. But to be honest I'm not see any problem here. Its displaying as it should. When there is now content to display a message in white text on the blue background will be there instead.
-
I'll check on that later today when I get home from work. Can't do much from my phone.

Perhaps using ""HQ" for "High Quality" would be a better way since these are images and not video. When people see "HD" they immediately think of video quality. I already offered a spot here at CNCNZ.com for Tiberian Daylight to AZ-Stalker, he is happy with what has going right now.

It would appear that Tiberium Alliances is going back to where it all began with the announcement of new classic worlds for Tiberium Alliances recently, this is the original game mode that the game launched with. Here's the full announcement explaining what's happening. Any questions, feedback or comments can be posted in this topic on the Official Tiberium Alliances Forums.

So something special for #101 and final Cartoon and Conquer then?

A little late in posting this, as its already ticked over to the 2nd of January here in New Zealand. It's well and truly 2015 everywhere in the world now. I guess we can look back on 2014 as very disappointing year in terms of Command & Conquer. With no official word from EA about the franchise's future since the October 2013 cancellation of Command & Conquer, it was extremely difficult to keep CNCNZ.com fresh and updated. Many of our staff have moved on (or lost interest) and anything that was in the works has been put on on hold indefinitely. We did keep up with most modding news though, but we can only post so much. In the past couple months my own motivation as dropped somewhat. It wasn't all doom and gloom during the past Command & Conquer year though. The Totem Arts team deserve some recognition for delivering two major releases of Renegade X. The rebirth of Renegade's unrivalled gameplay received plenty of coverage here at CNCNZ.com and lots of high praise around the community. On a personal note, Renegade X would have to be my C&C highlight of the year. And the efforts of Revora creating C&C: Online must be mentioned as well. Games like Generals, Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath and Red Alert 3 would be dead and buried without C&C: Online. stepping in after the demise of GameSpy. So make sure you give them some support, especially if you still continue to play online and have fun doing so. As I've always done in the past, I post a quick list of credits and thanks to those who make CNCNZ.com possible. The CNCNZ.com Staff have contributed unique content for the site and forums throughout the year. For many years now our friends at at Revora have provided our hosting, without their support CNCNZ.com would obviously be nothing. Many thanks and respect goes to all supporters, visitors and members on our forums, as well as other our friends through out the Command & Conquer Community. So it's a Happy New Year from CNCNZ.com! We have no idea what 2015 holds for Command & Conquer. Will EA blow the dust off the franchise and bring it back? Is the franchise still relevant? I will admit for the first time in many years I'm not sure if CNCNZ.com will make it to 2016, but my commitment remains strong. Let's take it month by month and see how things go.

What are your favourite Renegade X servers to play on and why?
