i remember the 56k days ...and i got a wireless mouse with my new PC. have a wired backup though. it seems to get annoying time to time when i play my FPS' (often) and the batteries die, or some kind of connectivity issue arises. the reason i got my wireless keyboard & mouse was so i could move them further from my desk.

i guess i made my move a little early. would updating to Windows 7 really hurt my system? oh and my cooling seems to be ****ty btw

yea no doubt it's fun to play ( i STILL only have the demo), but the story to me is screwed. i looked forwards to a continuation to TS story for years, and i dont consider this story a part of the the whole.

technically incredible hulk is a sequel. its just analogy though. TW was practically a remake of the universe. they bent the core elements of the story for no real reason except maybe to create weak plot, and didnt even do it well or give good reason how or why things changed.COP OUT

this is how i see it: anyone who liked TD and TS may have thought that the changes made in TW was WAY too dramatic especially since it wasn't explained properly. change is good, but not when it almost remakes the universe. TW compared to TS is like Hulk compared to the newer version Incredible Hulk with ed norton....except the new hulk movie is TS...get it?

some may say why would we bring in hardcore fans, they represent the past? C&C needs to keep up with the times. maybe only graphically. the hardcore fans hold within them the spirit that made C&C95 such a success. we love the core elements of C&C, and our opinions could carry those elements into the future of the gaming universe to bring forth the same success it had in the first days..

well thats where i was on the fence with the article. id rather they didnt change the core elements of the universe..

i basically agree with that entire article. what we were all forced to do as a community, though, was to let EALA stuff whatever they made of the universe down our throats and accept TW. even if there is a C&C4, isn't it too late to undo the damage?

also, i dont know about anyone else but i really am not in any place to say what the world should look like ahead of TS. i dont know the whole story and cant cite the canon.
