I have a different opinion than yours, Nmenth. I don't think it is tied to the future of C&C, although it would certainly affect it. I think it is mostly tied to the popularity of the existing games and the content created for them. If you look at C&C Remastered Collection, for instance, you'll notice that this game sold a lot of copies, yet it doesn't generate much news or visitors to the old fan sites. It is not easy to find tournaments for it. It is easier to find Generals: Zero Hour tournaments on the web. Some of the old games still have a lot of content being created almost daily, such as Generals: Zero Hour and Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge. From modding to tournaments, events, streams, and videos. However, I agree that the tendency is that fan sites will eventually become archives and a spot for rare troubleshooting inquiries. Even if EA does something about future C&C games, most discussions will end up being placed on Reddit, Discord, and a few selected places. But definitely not on fan sites. I'm trying to deviate from this fate from PPM, but it demands a lot of effort. So far, I'm doing my best.

Is there any option to disable rich post format when creating a post? Like... allowing me to post only with the good old BBCode which is much smarter than this annoying forced rich post content that always misses what I really want to do when I am posting, forcing me to edit the post countless times until I get what I want? I know that IPB3 had a magic button at the position where is the Preview button nowadays that could do it. But on IPB 4, it has disappeared. I think that the posting buttons can be customized somewhere in the ACP, but since I've never touched IPB4's ACP, I can't say that for sure.

You don't understand the seriousness of the fault you've just mentioned if you think that the hate for it is way over-the-top. It comes to a moment that this fault you've just mentioned makes Rivals ends being a fun game to become simply a cash cow gamble. Most of us want a fun game to start with.

No, not at all. PPM is even less regarded by them than CNCNZ.com.

I don't think that these dealings that you had with them is the reason behind you not being invited. It is probably a mix of lack of famous C&C players and not enough popularity for their standards. But I think you are still doing well on their list and would be one of the next names for it, if they ever decide to invite more people.

Company of Heroes 2 is free on Steam until monday 10am in Pacific Time Zone. https://store.steampowered.com/sale/coh2_giveaway_weekend/

They are not desperate. They wanted to do that for eons already.

Happy birthday, CNCNZ! And Wolf, that's a great choice for a birthday present :).

I think you've made this post in the wrong place. This is not a giveaway. You can play it for free on the next 16 hours, but you'll have to pay for it to play it after that.

He has also done something similar few days ago on OpenRA forums and on CnCNet forums. No big deal. I guess he just want people to keep the discussion flowing.

No. The game that will be remastered will be..... Command & Conquer Sole Survivor, of course, due to its amazing sales and outstanding success with the public.

No way. Mario is too awesome to stop and there is a lot to be done with it.

It's just like the distance between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Around 5 to 6 hour drive or a 45 minutes flight, which ends up being considered to be close anyway.

Then, it is CnC Near Zagreb 🤣

CnC and Zagreb

Unfortunately, the old GDI servers used to respond much faster than the new Nod ones... at least for me. But the good thing is that the site is alive and kicking ;).

I was interested at the story. And yes, I was definitely disappointed with that.

C&C4, definitely.

EA has just terminated the On The House feature from Origin. It's gone from their site .

Croatia vs France in the final match! Go Croatia! Anyway, here's a message from England, for the Croatia: See you in the next World Cup, Kane.

Considering that Belgium is gone, go Croatia! For those wondering... the reason is that Croatia has never won a World Cup yet.

That doesn't mean much at all, since it has been a while since these matches happened and both teams are different nowadays.

I don't think France will beat Belgium, but England has good chances of beating Croatia.

Well, I guess it's a new UEFA European Championship from now on. And I agree with Inferno, it was a clash of Titans. The Belgium team was great indeed. Too bad that it didn't end well for my side.

PurpleGaga27 meant that this information could somewhat be in the post reply interface where you can see buttons for Bold, Italic, Underline, Link, Align, Size, etc... Although I don't think that its current user interface favors the placement of this information there or, at least, I don't know a proper way of how it could be done.
