Zocom7, hasn't this forum already seen enough of that Gangnam Style crap?

What mobile device do you currently use?

Sony Ericsson T360. (random internet picture) Yes, it's ancient. I love it, even though it's acting up and on the verge of death after so many years. I even patched it up one time with better parts from another one. People who type on their cell phones or tablets or whatvere tend to miss out on simple things that happen around them. I've seen lots of real life zombies with cell phones in the streets... I use a cell phone just so others can contact me and vice versa. Nothing more. Plus, it can survive being tossed out of a high building straight into pavement with minor scratches. Can your Iphones and whachamacallits do that?

  5. Don't they coat things like screws with something that prevents them from loosening up in space? I, for example, put a small amount of clear nail polish (or whatever it's called) on certain screws that hold my replica (airsoft) M4 Carbine magazines from loosening up (to prevent internal loosening -> mechanical damage from prolonged use). It acts as a hardening agent of some sort, simply put it tigthens the area around the screw filling up the (very very tiny) leftover space. It's reversable by just unscrewing the thing (and cleaning the area) if I need to repair the magazine or clean it and doesn't cause any visible damage to the metal housing. So it's pretty practical. I'm not well informed on how technicians tackle such problems for prolonged useage of anything that gets shot out into space. Though even coating a screw can't stop it from loosening during an impact of some sort, or maybe some vibrations. Oh and just so I post something about the topic at hand, a piece of metal on another planet wouldn't surprise me. Hell even ruins or alien life (which are likely all covered up and kept secret ofcourse) wouldn't be big news either in my book. I'd be more surprised if people stopped hating/hurting/insulting/declaring war/killing and that sort of thing.

Command & Conquer Week on Twitch.tv

I know it's not a new occurrence in gaming, but the fact that the guy streaming his gameplay got it wrong (for me) shows that he's either new to the classics that made C&C great, lacking interest in getting it right or carring about it, or a display of one's level of dedication to C&C as a true fan. Ofcourse I'm overreacting a bit here but I see the little things as a way of figuring out to what degree a person is related to C&C and how it affects it (and it's community).

He didn't even name a stream right... he called the game Tiberium Sun instead of Tiberian Sun, and for me, that says something. That's a crime punishable by death, streamed live via the Brotherhood's news stations ofcourse.
  9. Found it, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It's fairly hidden though.
  10. It could turn out useful, depending on the type of the thread it's being used in, ofcourse. And to be honest, I haven't been seeing that feature around here, so it's a bit under the radar. Also, though there is a possibility that I might have overlooked this, but in my time here, I haven't been able to notice a "mark ALL topics/forums as read" button on the main forum view. I stuck with clicking the icons left of each forum to mark them, though that could be made easier by adding said button (if it doesn't exist). If it's there somewhere and I just haven't noticed it, then I'd like to know about it. But that's some feedback aswell, since it's not that noticable, at least to me.

    C3N Stream 02 Starts Soon!

I've been watching the earlier matches I missed... it wasn't that bad. I'd suggest cutting the prolonged technical issue parts, leaving the viewable gameplay.

    Cartoon and Conquer #47

I'm not worried about if something isn't canon. I'm just interested in finding out some more info about what motivated him to make the characters and settings as he did. Also, if I recall correctly, the Renegade black hand were not the BH Elite, those were stealth troopers and laser equiped soldiers. Eh, I'm complicating things too much. Could be an oversight in the comic. But then again, we don't actually have any real intel on any strict BH Elite recruiting regulations right? So the flamers could have been in the Elites, it's just that I don't remember ever seeing them as part of it. Not directly at least.

    Cartoon and Conquer #47

Good one. One question though, why the constant mixing in the Tiberium universe's timeline? The Nod guys are from renegade, we have GDI troopers from the TS era who hang out with a C&C3 Engineer and if I'm not mistaken (which I could be) the Black Hand elite was organized into the "flamethrower department" over in the middle of the 3rd war. Though it's obvious that the more you mix it up, the more options in joking about something become available and the characters can be more diverse. But I'm just curious. On a side note, I think I remember asking something similar in the past, but I'm not sure if that actually happened. So I guess I've gone mentally insane. Tiberium flakes, anyone?
  15. They're another cheap clone brand right? Heh, calling them C&C Legos is getting interesting. Eh, it's the brick system that counts anyway.

  17. That's the thing I love most in TS. It's atmosphere is no way near the cartoony feel of later Red Alert games or the "still alive" Generals and Renegade setups. It's dark, gloomy and decay-driven.
