Is Generals 2 the Next Command & Conquer?

I think I know this. EALA is going to make a surprise for us before RA3 expansion is released, just like RA3 announcement one month and a half before KW is released.

I wonder if Generals 2 could bring back the music composer, Bill Brown. I wish Frank Klepacki could be called once again and this might be for the first time for him to compose Generals music.

I'd love a Generals II with a new engine, more versatile eco and upgrades, even larger faction asymetry, a great modding tool and a useful lobby and stable servers. Not for me but the MP fans, so that we have something to stick up against SC2. And for us single players, a very grim and complex CnC4, also with a new engine.

Definitely NOT Bill Brown, all his music since Generals 1 are quite dull, not as dull as C&C3's. But honestly, those music make me sleepy. Compare to the RA3 ones including Frank Klepacki's, their music are rock & roll based, so I love them, those can never make me sleepy.

 

So far, we can't assume the next C&C game will be Generals 2, but we're depending on EA to make things right as they are the one who make the game. I better be sure they are going on the right path. After all, no matter if it sales war or not, look at the censorship happened with Germany & China. Then again, RA3 was not banned in Japan yet even after released, no mention of Hiroshima & Nagasaki and most of all, is the nuke. So EA did the right thing, but Generals 2, is going to create another spark of controversy like this one. RA3 doesn't have controversies.

 

Anyway, better be sure they do the right thing. 3 choices :

 

1. Generals 2

2. Tiberium universe

3. Brand new universe

 

My vote is on 3. Wanted 2, but we should give the Tiberium universe a break first.

I'm guessing Generals 2. They didn't make it an entire section for "the generals universe" on the EA site for nothing.
