Feliz Navidad!

I wasn't going to post this anywhere because I was never very happy with it but a friend of mine said I should so - here we go.

 

This is an arrangement by me of the popular Christmas carol 'Feliz Navidad' by Jose Feliciano. I was asked to come up with a very simple arrangement of the song for a *band* of young teens that wanted to perform a few Christmas songs. So bear in mind when you listen to it that it was never designed to be listened to publicly. Everything's pretty rough because I did all the recording and performing myself, it's quite tricky to have to hit record, then run over to the drum kit, play the piece and then run back to the computer - and then to layer the bass, guitar and vocals on top of that. The vocals are actually slightly off in some places (which is my fault) but also I've done a bad job of mixing them because they've come out really muddy, I don't sound that bad in real life...honest!

 

So yeah, it's pretty rough but you kinda get the idea.
