i was wondering if the is a way to make a ore refinery give you more then 1 free unit :unsure:

and does anyone know what i should put in "ExitCoord=??" im not sure if it is a cell radius or what im so confused :banghead:

You can only get one free unit per building.

 

And ExitCoord, while being valid, is hardcoded on existing factories.

im trying to make a chrono war factory i have a npatch tutorial on how to do it and it tells me to add exitcoord= but the never told me what to put after the =

I've tried deciphering the ExitCoord before, it is a little confusing.

X Y Z would be the three dimensions in cells, left/right, forward/backward, up/down.

Unfortunately, I'm still not sure which direction is sideways and which is forward, since RA2 is based on a diamond grid rather than a straight horizontal-vertical square grid and I never finished making my new factory (not sure what that project was for or why I canceled it).

If your weapons factory is the same size as the other three, just steal their ExitCoord and it should work just as well. If it's not, trial and error ought to work, it's what I was planning on doing before I dropped my work on it. ExitCoord=X,Y,Z where XYZ are number of cells.

ok i think i understand the xyz know somewhat but now i made a new tech building and i was wandering if you can use FA2 to put it on a map and how to get it in the building list to do so

It seems as long as you have Owner set and is valid in the BuildingTypes list, it will appear in FA2. Probably invisible, but if you have Show Building Outlines set, you can at least tell where it is going.

XYZ - forward, lateral, height. It's the same as XFireFLH in art.

Add it to your [buildingTypes] list and leave the rules in your \RA2\ directory.

 

does anyone know were to find the mainmenu.ini

No such file by default. You have to make it yourself, which VK pointed out in his MDK.
