Red Alert 3 Patch 1.07 Now Available

Patch 1.07 for Red Alert 3 has been made available via the auto-updater. Remember this is not the big balance patch that lots of people have been waiting for. As APOC explained yesterday, patch 1.07 corrects some issues for Steam versions of Red Alert 3. Here is the 1.07 patch notes.

Read that the patch removes EA's protection on Steam. I thought it wasn't there in the first place but apparently I'm wrong.

It is still protected with Steam protection stuff.

Yes 1.08, or more specifically the manual EXE download, will contain all the changes and fixes from the previous patches (1.01 to 1.07).

 

People often wonder why the manual EXE patch are bigger than the auto updater patches. The manual EXE are cumulative updates, the auto updater patches only download the new files for the new version.

 

Patch 1.08 is due out next week I've heard.

I assumed it would be, but with the spacing so close between patches, I was kind of wondering. I suppose for the people this patch helps, it is better to get it sooner rather than later...

yea since this patch is basically for Steam users, ill wait for the next patch to carry my tower down to my router
