As usual we got no coverage of this in NZ so I'm just catching up on this now. Here's Metallica being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2009 back on April 4th.

 

Induction by Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

All of them are humbled by being included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And its good to see them all pay respect to former band members, and the fans.

James is 45 years old actually, born August 3, 1963.

 

From what I understand Metallica had played 3-4 shows back to back in Europe and then flew back to the USA for the HOF, those performances were 24 after getting of a plane.

Not a Metallica fan but I really enjoy their latest album a.k.a. in Sonic's Avatar, yea that one.
