TheBlackOut 7 Posted June 25, 2009 Still not a full version yet. I won't switch right away because I have a snootload of addons. True. I only use Adblock Plus so I dabble with 3.5 from time to time. On a good amount of sites, the speed increase is very obvious. RC3 released. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.5/releasenotes/ Share this post Link to post

Luk3us 63 Posted July 3, 2009 I see firefox stole some ideas from Chrome. I don't care if Chrome stole them from some ****ty browser like Opera by the way though. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted July 3, 2009 I'm impressed with Firefox 3.5, its very speedy. Best browser by far. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted July 12, 2009 Garg. Some of my add-ons are not compatible. Give them sometime, they will be updated. All mine work, but then again I don't have that many. Don't really see a need for any others. Share this post Link to post
Guest Stevie_K Posted July 12, 2009 So Iv'e tried FireFox 3.5 for over a week now. Yes it is fast, but it drives me crazy that none of my plugins and addons are working. So I switched to Google Chrome wich is faster than the light it seems. They must have some kind of superscript. Annoys me that themes are so hard to find and apply though. TheBlackOut 7 Posted July 12, 2009 Chrome will become more open later on, or so says Google. Share this post Link to post
Mighty BOB! 5 Posted July 12, 2009 Yeah it'll be interesting to see what plugins the community makes for Chrome. At this point after a bit of digging, I only have 2 add-ons that are not compatible, although I've disabled one since it needed an update anyways and was impacting my browsing, and the other has a beta build that semi-works, but those don't get automatic updates. Well I hope updates come soon but I can wait. I waited like 3 or 6 months when 3.0 came out before upgrading. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted July 17, 2009 Firefox 3.5.1 just came through on the auto=updater. Firefox 3.5.1 fixes the following issues: Several security issues. Several stability issues. An issue that was making Firefox take a long time to load on some Windows systems. http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox...1/releasenotes/ Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted July 17, 2009 So after making the jump, I have noticed a very slight, and I say very, slight increase in speed on some pages. I've just about got all my add ons too, plus some new ones. Share this post Link to post
