I am really missing the original building system.. Probably it's the Age Of Empires' type.. but if only you could make the original one.. :cry: Well.. if you can't its ok though :wink: I can already see that you had put in a lot of hard work. Its still going to be AOE type building although it would be possilbe to make it the oldway with the exception that you could only have a maximum of 12 buildings on the conyard. It would just take reprogramming the the Conyard to carry the attributes of the dozer so that it could build other buildings in a curtain distance from itself. The only big issue would be that the build distance would be contant (aka if you build a power plant at the edge of the building distance it would not increace since buidings are based from the conyard. I personally think that the new one is more user-friendly (easier to upgrade stuff and such) but it takes away IMHO one of the main aspects of original C&C - its building system. I really don't know any other game with that kind of building system... :roll: btw C&C World Rebellion has a potential out there... so far - quite good :wink: Share this post Link to post

I asked GideonX about Construction Yard Type of building.. General GideonX 0 Posted May 15, 2004 I can hack all the other CnC games but the code is not compatible. And yes a demo will be relased around that time. I'm getting close on the webpage I wanted ingame shots of the new mars map (all new map textures and objects.) and there are two issues with the buildings system 1 the radious from the CY and 2. you can not make other buildings add you your build radious as it was in the prior games. I have programmed alot of time for my young age. But if you want to get good games learn OO thats what they all are any more. Share this post Link to post
