You can't blame EALA, it also has to do with the entire illogical corporation policies nonsense, either ignoring westwood stuff because they think they can do better than westwood, or as a result hiring illogical artists who possibly has no idea what C&C is, and viola, done, where's my pay?

 

They can say that, I heard many people claiming EA is trying to be themselves and try to be better than Westwood, that's what I know, and it's true, look at all where it's going, the seriousness of the franchise are getting dim. Especially you look at RA3, the Hammer Tank is not as armored looking as the Rhino, I hate the Hammer anyways, I still rather use the Rhino as the MBT for RA3. And the Apoc tank, still ugly looking and it's still not very scary compare to RA2's Apoc tank, and back into the concept art, their Apoc tank was so horrible looking as though like the dev team take franchise really lightly.

 

Then in C&C4, the screenshots (Ugly scanned or not) doesn't seem up to date, I thought I will picture like a darker version of Firestorm and in 3D, but it turns out it's still less serious as in Tiberian Dawn.

I agree Silver. It's a shame they still can't just turn up the darkness. It's like they are afraid to scare off children so the won't make money off them. lame.

It's such a simple thing to do compared to the other stuff they do. darken the textures, add less light, and viola'!

That make me feel that the finalized C&C4 environment will be as bright and sunny as C&C3's yellow zone instead of the one we see now.

I know, I'll just relax as normal. If I become a Westwood extremist, there's no peace within myself.
