Command & Conquer 4 Preview: GameSpot

[Sonic 297]

It certainly is an overload of Command & Conquer 4 previews today. Next up is GameSpot with their impressions of Command & Conquer 4. As always, here's a sample to get you started.

The world of C&C4 is created in gorgeously crisp detail. Glowing Tiberium contrasts with the bleak wastelands of ash, debris, and scorched earth. Highly detailed units feature some cool glowing parts, as well as procedural damage, and break into multiple sections when destroyed. We're told that a new dynamic lighting system will make night missions particularly impressive, with lasers and explosions reflecting off nearby objects, and we saw plenty of satisfying explosions and fires take place.

damn why cant we also see what they are seeing as demo stage?

is this so hard to make a HD movie from the Demo level with some commentary maybe and make it available for download?

we need to see what those people saw.

by reading previews and watching screenshots we get not feeling of the game!

come one Apoc give us a Gameplay video.....plz!

We are only seeing what EALA are allowing the media to see. Gameplay videos will come soon enough. Perhaps during or after CommandCom in few weeks.

well showing the e-magazines demos and videos we never see, cause there are cutted later on, and then those medias trying to "affect" and persuade us that what they saw was a nice game.... well i really think its very annoying.

(dont say i am of topic)

but this is what they did with Videos like those and Demo level with Generals that months have pasts and we havent seen any good quality of those ever!

like this one:

which btw was an amazing video.

or the CnC3 gameplay video with Mike Verdu remember?

we should see something like that before CommandCom in my opinion. damn i wish i was free this weekend.

i am gona see the "perseids" meteor shower to relax now

Can't wait to see demo videos leaked on the internet! And be prepared for major outroar and outcry in the official EA forums, a excellent source for jokes and humor.
