Gben 20 Posted September 9, 2009 One of the rumours I've been hearing is that the Scrin invasion has been delayed due to the TCN being so effective to make the invasion of earth non-viable for the Scrin overlords. I don't necessarily agree with the motivation for not seeing them in C&C4, because the KW ending leaves you with the impression that the invasion was imminent and it's been a long time since they were last seen... BUT It made me think that if humans die in Tiberium fields, it would have been fun it the Scrin died in non-tiberium fields! So that something like the Overlord's Wrath would be used as a mechanic to establish a forward base... or that all Scrin bases needed to be built within Tiberium fields (ala Zerg Creep). This concept would link Tiberium to a terraforming concept and explanation for why it came to earth in the first place. But I was just thinking how neat it would be if Scrin units took slow damage outside of a tib field, at a similar rate to human infantry within the field. I guess mechanised units and infantry units would require different rates of damage... And again this concept would be best shown if the red/yellow/blue zones actually had gameplay differences that gave the home side an advantage. Share this post Link to post
Renamon 0 Posted September 9, 2009 remember the last gdi mission? scrin have huge nodes that send ''tiber radiation'' to their units so they would survive outside tinerium fields. sooo.. Share this post Link to post
