ModDB - Mod of the Year 2009 Awards

For the past 8 years, ModDB has held an annual "Mod of the Year" competition, open to all it's members. The 2009 competition was open to 6100 mods and 740 independent games in total. On January 5th, after 80,000 votes, the top 100 mods have emerged! Congratulations to the following C&C mods who have made it through to the next round of the Mod of the Year competition at ModDBand are represented in the top 2%.

They made it but due to a rule that you can't win the same category twice in a rove they arn't in the list. They got a honorable mention though.

Lots of great C&C nominees. Though, the title should be "Mod of the Year" not "Mod the Year"

Some good competition this year between the C&C mods, looks like I haven't got a chance as hardly anybody cares for TS any more. But I've made it this far, who knows. Non-the-less, Twisted Insurrection is the first Tiberian Sun mod to make it in the top 100 mods in any Mod of the Year event, and for that alone I'm proud.

 

Good luck to the others, Generals Evolution especially looks interesting.

I always have a hard time visualising a person in those kinds of suits. They always seem far to big for sit in there properly...

I think more and more people are loosing interest for both ModDB and mods... not hard to imagine with more and more mods announced and fewer and fewer of them ever released...

 

 

So wish Tiberian Sun Rising would be released soon, i've been following it since it was announced, wish that team would have been as efficient as the Mideast Crisis 2 one...
