Alternate Cameo Program

Hey,

I'm working on a RA2 mod, i know a lot of the stuff to add cameos, infantry, vehicles, all that stuff, but I'm having problems installing PSP and was wondering if there was another program that i could use to make RA2 cameos. any info would be great.

I've tried that. I haven't dug into the program that far, is there a text tool or do i have to do it by hand? or even a way to copy/past text from somewhere else?

You should be able to slap it on there as a function. Though, honestly, I use PSP7 for cameo work and I get better results.

There's one for PhotoShop and a couple floating around for PSP, but I can't remember where they're all at. I think the PhotoShop guide is long gone anyway...

urg. i'm seriously now having issues with inserting my cameos, i tried to put it in both expand56.mix and ecache02.mix, and even into the original cameo.mix and they wont show up, here are my art and rulse

Don't modify the original game's MIX files; it's unnecessary since numbered expand and ecache mixes override them anyway.

 

When you say it doesn't show up, what do you mean? Do you get a missing cameo image or a miscolored image?
