ZH Doesn't Run

I have a similar problem. Game starts fine, but afther several seconds playing skirmish my base blows up. I've noticed it happens just afther i built a radar showing oponent's base, or when unit of any kind reach oponent's base and see what is in it.

 

I've installed latest graphic card drives (Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family) and started game in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode and turned off aero and desktop compositions. Lastest patches for C&C Generals and Zero Hour (I've got legal copy) have been installed and problem still appears. Run game as admin didn' help. When I've used Windows XP SP3 everything worked fine. Now I am working on Windows 7 Pro.

have you tryed:

 

right click on the game exe from the game file then choose properties then compatibility then choose run this program in compatibility mod for then choose windows 7 .

Have you tried uninstalling, clearing the registry with something like CCleaner, rebooting and trying again?

I've tried install and re-install at least five times, each time with CCleaner registry cleaning. I've even called EA Support Center. They said, that I should turn off antivirus and firewall, emulation programms like Daemon Tools and kill all CPU process not assosiated with System or Local Services. I've tried all of that with no result. This is killing me, because I very like this game, and still can't play by any means.

 

The funny thing is C&C Generals without Zero Hour works fine. Is it just me, or somebody had similar problem?

have you tried to contact windows 7 Support Center? maybe they can help you after all they're the creatores of windows 7.

Have you tried uninstalling deleting everything Generals ZH related on your hard drive? The folder in my documents, and the folder Zero Hour is installed to? Then reinstalling patching it to 1.04 and running it as administrator?

I have tried all of that. Cleaning game leftovers afther uninstall by CCleaner, and manually deleting files from Documents and Program Files EA Games folder.

Game doesn't work properly with and without patching. Running as Administrator didn't help. I have also disabled desktop gadgets and aero in generals.exe compatibility toolbar. No progress. It's realy driving me mad.
